Dark As Hell

This morning was my darkest ride in yet. It’s amazing how much more cautious I am, but maybe not. You can’t see drivers inside their cars to see if they see you. You can’t see joggers on the path until you’re on top of them and you certainly can’t see anyone who might do you harm.

In other news, I finished the first page of a comic for class. I’m pretty darn happy with it. I think seeing the work in non-photo blue makes me feel like a real comic artist so therefore, my work becomes more inspired.

I’m close to being done with a second painting, but life is really getting in the way – business trips, horror conventions, house upkeep – it’s too much sometimes.

The Bout 001 (Pulp Derby)

I painted this a few months ago, but it’s worth sharing here. I’ve been a fan of pulp art for a while but only recently have I discovered a subject that I could insert into the style: roller derby. This is the first.

This is also my first attempt at painting in about 15 years.

After So Many Years

Hello.

This is where I am. After so many years I am here.

You may remember me. You may not. You may have visited and returned after so many years out of curiosity. What has that one guy been up to?

It’s a long story.
