About: This is part of a collection of gaming notes left behind by my mother when she passed in 2020. Mom was an avid table-top role player, starting her adventures in the late 1970s and continued for as long as she could find a game. I’m slowly making my way through these papers and posting them as I uncover them.
The hand-written sheets for Desirea show a level 4 Rogue / Level 1 Fighter give us an armor class of 16 and 36 hit points. Desirea is described as Age 80 (half-elf), height 4’6″, weight 120, eyes black, skin is tanned and hair is black.
On sheet notes that Desirea is “Inquisitive, Root our secrets, Sharp eye, Seeker of lost treasures”. She also notes an Amulet of Detect Magic and studded leather armor. A hand written note mixed in with the character sheets adds that she has “bullets for sling 20”, “pouch of 40”, and “4 healing 5 does [sic] 1D6”. A note of 8 gold and 1 gold next to the some of these items may be a cost associated with each.
Of course, leave it to my Mom to misspell her own character name.
Additional notes
That about wraps it up for Desirea. Over the span of just a few years, she managed to get to level 4 in her primary class, which tells me that the campaign wasn’t run very often. The last known date on the printouts places Desirea near the end of my Mom’s adventuring career, but honestly – I couldn’t say what might have been her last player character since not all of her sheets have dates.
Mixed in with Desirea is an unnamed character from January of 2020, so that may really be it. I’ll wait to post that character sheet. There’s still plenty more to get through.
